'Work for your boss?' Lindy asked doubtfully and John nodded
encouragement. 'Of course ..' he enthused '..you need a job, Clive
needs a secretary. Not as if we're even in the same office. I pushed
your credentials and he was sold. The interview's a breeze!'

So it proved, Lindy bowled over by the charm of her husband's boss as
he outlined her job role and enthused over her qualifications. She
left the office 10 feet tall and keen to begin the following Monday.

She arrived early to find Clive already in his office. He was kindness
itself when showing her the ropes and Lindy could hardly believe her
good fortune.

It was Wednesday before her euphoria collapsed. She was doing her
filing when Clive came out of his office and ,as he passed, his hand
fondled the cheeks of her bottom firmly.

'Just begging for a spanking!..' he grinned '...does John ever oblige?'

Lindy, shocked, just spluttered 'MR REYNOLDS! as he walked away unfazed.

'I could help there..'he chortled '..you only have to ask!' and left
the room.

He didn't return that day and Lindy went home in tears. She couldn't
sleep all night and next day went into work feeling like a zombie.

Worse was to come when she was summoned for dictation. She tried not
to look at her boss as he began but he stopped in mid sentence.

'Lindy, what colour panties are you wearing? Lift that skirt and show
me!' he demanded.

Her temper overflowed. 'One more comment like that Mr Reynolds and I'll
quit and tell my husband why!' she spat angrily.

'Oh I don't think you will Lindy and tonight you'll find out why..' he
replied grimly'..now if you're not prepared to play let's get on with
the letters'.

That evening she returned home to find her husband ashen faced and
shocked.

'I've had the Barrett account taken away from me...' he muttered '...no
explanation, nothing' as Lindy put her arm round him, her eyes full of
tears for she knew why.

The next morning she walked into Clive Reynolds office and looked him
full in the face.

'Alright Mr Reynolds, you win...' she said angrily '..you want to spank
me then go ahead and do it..but don't wreck my husband's career!'

Reynolds grinned and eyed her up and down.

'I dont think that's enough...' he said '..I think I'll call John in
for a briefing and he'll expect to be fired but instead I'll give him
the sales division Vice Presidency....after...'

'After what?' Lindy demanded, stunned and confused.

'...after he's watched me give his pretty wife a good spanking across
my knee with her panties down!' he replied evenly as Lindy gasped in
horror.

'John wouldn't stand for...he wouldn't let.' she stuttered and Reynolds
laughed.

'Your husband is ambitious..' he replied ' and I'm gonna make him an
offer he can't refuse!'

One amazing piece of writing. Blackmailing, and of this kind, really makes me angry... which is the whole point after all, and this story achieves it delightfully. Not sure if the feelings of voyeurism or those of pure lust are stronger, but it hardly matters. It's interesting to notice how the male characters are somewhat "still" in their roles/position, while it's Lindy to have to make the choices the whole story revels around. A true mind-teaser.

'Sacrifice' is a powerful tale of ambition and coercion. While steadily building the tension, the narrative could easily encourage the reader to 'take sides'. If an ending could be found that dramatically relieves the tension, then this reviewer would rank 'Sacrifice' among the great spanking stories.

A wonderfully crunchy descent into a kind of middle-class, corporate hell. It's almost the flip-side of 'Secretary'. The boss is presented as a monster motivated by nothing much more than lust and power, and that's about right. I can't help feeling that the final twist here was one too many, though. There's a terrible - though well-motivated - tragedy in the idea of her enduring the boss's lechery for her husband's benefit so long as he remains ignorant. The boss has a very powerful weapon to use against her, and to keep her silent. But what if the husband does know? Why would she continue to play along for his benefit if he was so complicit? It's a less satisfying prospect for the story, because it makes her just dumb, rather than tragic. (Pablo)
