"Of course I do honey, but you'd better be going or you'll be late for school."
She grinned impishly, then scampered down the drive
Back in the kitchen he sat down - gingerly.

Another nice use of the 50 word limit with an impish little twist. Well constructed within the framework. I wonder if they switch and teacher gets a dose of her own medicine..cant say all that in 50 words though. Very nice

The short format is difficult to do well, and it tends to either hit or miss. For me at least, this one was a miss.
