I had wanted to put this story in the category of Pictures, especially the picture of the Old Schoolhouse. But I ran out of time before I could get it down to 500 words. So here is the story as a 1000 Words entry, but please keep that picture of the Old Schoolhouse in mind.

"She's a very freaky girl. She took me out to the old schoolhouse, telling me that there is a ghost there. I thought she wanted to have sex, but she got weird and wanted to beat me with a stick. I ran away as fast as I could."

"My father says never to have sex with anyone crazier than you are and she is crazier than anybody."

Larry was listening to boys talking in the locker room after gym class. He knew that they were talking about Jolene. Larry had a crush on Jolene, but he had never been able to get near here. This looked like his chance.

Larry played it cool. He talked with Jolene about other things, only bringing up ghosts once she was comfortable with him.

"The ghost haunting the old schoolhouse is that of a schoolmistress from back when it was a one room schoolhouse," Jolene explained. "She is trapped here by some need to punish one of her male students. When I take a boy there, she possesses me and tries to punish him."

"Possession! She sounds evil!" Larry told Jolene. "We have got to get a priest to exorcise her!"

"No, that would hurt her. I am sure. I have to find some way to free her."

Larry looked into Jolene's pleading eyes and said, "All right! This could get me killed or worse. You said this at the time of the full moon. The next on is Saturday night. Let us go there and I will stick with it no matter how bad it gets. That might give us some idea about how to free her."

Jolene's kiss didn't ease Larry's fears, but it convinced him not to back out of this. That Saturday they went to the old schoolhouse. Jolene had a key that opened the door.

As soon as they shut the door, there were changes in Jolene stance, body language and voice that convinced Larry that he was no longer talking to Jolene. He was talking to the ghost.

"So you come at last! I have waited for so long!" she said in a deep husky voice. "How dare you write me such filthy letters. Go out and cut me a switch, I am going to punish you for your impudence."

Larry went out and cut the switch, but something in the ghost's voice led him to believe it might be a good idea to put on a condom.

When he went back, the ghost bent him over the desk. "Down with your pants, your underpants too. This will be bottom bare. How dare you say you are going to own me! Me! A Suffragette!" she cried as she switched his bottom.

Then she pushed him back on the desk and cried, "You are not going to have your way with me, I am going to have my way with you." She pounced on him and they made love. At the end, she screamed passionately. An aura came out of Jolene's body and went up through the ceiling.

Jolene collapsed into his arms and cried, "Oh, no! I made a terrible mistake! It wasn't one of her students, it was her lover that she wanted here. He had come, but before they could make love, someone else had come along. Before they got another chance, she caught influenza and died. She so wanted to have this session with her lover that it kept her spirit in this schoolhouse." Then Jolene looked down and cried, "Oh my gosh! What we did!"

"I used protection, so you should be safe," Larry said.

Jolene was so shaken that Larry had to take her home. But their romance continued to bloom. They returned to the schoolhouse on the night of the next full moon. They sat there a long time, by candle light, waiting for something to happen.

When nothing did, Jolene said, "I think we freed her. I don't sense that there are any ghosts here at all."

Then Jolene moved closer to Larry and whispered in his ear, "How would you like to play school? You be the teacher, and I will be a very naughty schoolgirl."

Jolene was really a little bit freaky, but it was a kind of freaky that Larry loved.
