The Birthday Present

Zad Zadigski

It was Brad's birthday. He knew that his wife was up to something. She wanted their family to visit her mother, which was suspicious to him.

Then he got a call from his boss, Christine. Christine wanted to come to his house to talk to him. Brad's wife and his three kids went to her mother's without him.

Christine was Vice President for Engineering. She was known as "The Fox" because she was very smart and very sexy. Christine tried hard to keep work from interfering with family life. So when she said she had to come over on a Saturday, Brad knew this was very serious.

When Christine came in she looked very sad.. "Brad, I am very sorry to have to tell you this. Your performance has not been what is expected of you. I am going to have to let you go.."

Brad exploded, "What the hell are you talking about! I shipped three new products this year, the customers love them, and the company will make millions!"

"I am sorry, Brad, this is coming from above. However, you do have an option. If you promise to do your best," she paused, reached into her bag and took out a paddle. "And if you will let me give you a good spanking, we can forget all about this."

"My wife put you up to this! Oh, is she going to get a good spanking when I get my hands on her!"

Christine laughed, "I wish I had a picture of your face when I said you were going to get a spanking. Your wife did tell me that you had fantasies about me spanking you, so she suggested that I give you your birthday spanking. I offered to give you other things also, but your wife said no. I did tell her that I only spank bare bottoms. So do you want your birthday spanking?"

He blushed and nodded.

"Okay, then," she said. "I am going to take off my skirt, so that it doesn't get messed up. You get your pants down and then get over my knees."

Christine gave the first half of the ritual with her hand, that was hard enough to make Brad squirm. Then she started in with the paddle, and she mixed spanking with rubbing. Brad was really glad when she said, "And one to grow on and one to be good on." Not only was he glad because his bottom was on fire, but because if she had continued he would have ejaculated against her bare legs.

He got his pants up quickly. She kissed him and said, "Your wife doesn't regard spanking as sex...... and since both of us were naughty to play this joke on you, we feel that you may take my panties down and spank me if you like."

As he took her over his knees, he just couldn't imagine a better birthday present.

I really enjoyed the basic concept behind this story, the "birthday surprise" spanking that another woman administers to the husband with his wife's consent--indeed with her support in engineering the setup. I have to envy this guy's marital relationship, the trust involved in the wife being told of his spanking fantasies involving another woman--a highly attractive one at that--but even moreso her willingness to indulge her mate's fantasies with the belief that spanking isn't sex. (It's not intercourse, certainly, but IMHO most wives wouldn't be nearly so understanding about their husband's desire to be spanked by another woman and would consider it as having a considerable sexual element.)

The female spanker (Christine) agreeing to a turnabout spanking is a nice touch of fairness (and likely fun too), and it's quite possible that Brad will eventually end up spanking his wife as well.

Christine may be a good executive and an effective spanker, but she doesn't "sell" the threat of Brad being either fired or spanked by her very well, he sees through it almost immediately. IMHO it isn't very plausible, even by spanking story standards, that a termination decision "from above" would allow for corporal punishment as an alternative, although if Christine instead claims to be under higher-up pressure to deal with Brad's purportedly poor job performance and her personal decision is to spank him or terminate him--that strikes me as slightly more believable, at least in a spanking story.

One technical criticism is that the writing seems stilted in places, there are too many short, choppy sentences that could be combined into longer, smoother ones. However, I did appreciate the overall story line quite a bit.

Inhabits that world of convenient fantasy in which everyone has the secret feelings we would want them to have, and circumstances always conspire to make the right things happen. It's a nice read, and lots of fun, but definitely cartoony - practically dream-like in the lack of motivation and plausibility. The language is a little flat, too. Perhaps try using a first-person narrator to give the language a bit more personality.

The author is obviously trying for an adult tone, which doesn't jibe well with short, choppy sentences. Christine may be a fox, but there's no description to convince me of it, so mention of it does nothing for the story. In fact, she could be a tired old battleaxe and it would serve the story just as well.

There's a lot of opening detail here that could be worked into dialogue or mentioned in passing. It's a stronger opening to star where Christine, Brad's boss, walks into his office and says, "Brad, I am very sorry to have to tell you this..."

This story could have been a lot stronger with some thoughtful revision. Eliminating the opening from the word count could have made room for either sensuous detail, or interesting banter between consenting adults.
