Coming of Age

Stacie's Mom

Matt Anglen

(revisited, barely, by Matt Anglen)

Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...
Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...
Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...
Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...

We got caught skinny-dippin' in the pool
Now she says she wants to see me after school...
She picked a time when Stacie's kept busy
So we can have just a little privacy

You know I'm not a little boy like I used to be
I'm all grown up now I'm sure that she can see

Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...
She says she knows what I've needed for so long
Stacie can't you see you're just not the girl for me?
How can I go wrong - I've got a date with Stacie's mom

Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...
Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...

Stacie's mom says I better not be late
She's not the type who likes to have to wait
While I've been watchin' her she's been keepin' tabs on me
And now it's time to bring me to a new reality

And I know you think that it's just a fantasy
But she says she's got a lot she can teach a guy like me

Stacie's mom - has got it goin' on...
She wants to give me what I've needed for so long
Stacie can't you see you're just not the girl for me?
There's no way to go wrong - I've got a date with Stacie's mom

Stacie's mom - oh yee-ow-ow
Stacie's mom - ow-wow-wha-ow
Stacie can't you see you're just not the girl for me?
I could be wrong but I've got a date with Stacie's mom

and what - no mention of spanking?

zadigski

The author of this parody did a good job of adding different lyrics to the song.  But where is the spanking?   It could be implied from some of the lyrics, but other things could be read into the same words.  If you weren't looking for spanking in the first place, I doubt that you would find it here.

C.K.

This parody starts out with a rather silly (albeit appropriate) pun, the "barely" adverb applied to a song that begins with a reference to skinny-dipping, and finishes up with a valid pointed question about the lack of a clearcut spanking reference. Given that this is an SSC story posted to our favorite spanking-oriented newsgroup, most readers would likely assume that Stacie's mom plans on spanking the young narrator rather than seducing him, or at least spanking him before seducing him, but an interpretation of only seducing him is one than most non-spankophile readers--and possibly even spankophile readers not especially fond of F/M pairings--would be most likely to have based on the lyrics. Indeed, the "has got it goin' on" refrain is an expression that would make me think of non-kinky sexual intercourse rather than disciplinary spanking.

The narrator himself doesn't earn any points for fidelity in my book, whatever he expects to happen in his clandestine rendezvous with Stacie's mom has him ready to dump his girlfriend in order to make a connection--whether erotic, punitive or both--with an older woman, her own mother. I keep thinking about "The Graduate," although the plot line here isn't precisely parallel to that movie's the general concept is quite similar.

While the lyrics work pretty well, I do feel that the lack of any clear reference to spanking is a major flaw in this song parody as an SSC entry.

I like the idea behind this, and some of the verses are pretty hummable.  I think spanking ended up on the sidelines, which is too bad.  The overall effect is fun, though.
